A 24-hour Journey!

I made it! I'm here in Lafayette, Indiana and absolutely shattered. The flight to Chicago went very smoothly, and I even had about 4 hours sleep. When I got to Chicago, I had a two hour wait, so I headed to the nearest Starbucks (of course) and had an iced tea and the hugest red apple you have ever seen.

They still have the guys who polish shoes!

I didn't get to see much of the Windy City as I didn't have time to leave the terminal but the people were all friendly and before I knew it I was catching the next flight to Indianapolis. The plane was tiny - maximum of about 30 people! It was the smallest commercial plane I've ever been on. Forgot about the time change at Indianapolis and almost missed my coach to Lafayette. The Coach is called the Lafayette Limo - but it was definitely more school bus than limousine! And I'm pleased to report all the seatbelts worked!

Got a taxi to the hotel and then collapsed! Tomorrow Wolf Park!
